Biography Mitsunobu Takaya |
Mitsunobu Takaya, Japanese conductor, received a Bachelor degree in music performance from Osaka College of Music in Japan and a Conducting Diploma with highest honors from Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Kiev, Ukraine. He also received a Ukrainian National License of Performance. Teachers include Vyacheslav.Prasolov, Evgen Duschenko, Mykola Sukach, Kazuhiko Komatsu. His professional debut was made at “Siberian International Music Festival” in Ukraine in 2001 and appointed to be a principal guest conductor of Cherniegov Philharmony Orchestra. In 2007, he was invited to “Kiev National Music Festibal “ to conduct its final stage and achieved to be the second conductor of Cherniegov Philharmony Orchestra. He has appeared with many orchestras including the Ukraine National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chernigov Philharmony Orchestra of Ukraine, Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Telemann Chamber Orchestra, the Sakai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kyoto University of Education Orchestra, the Kyoto Philomusica Orchestra, the Kyoto Civic Philharmonic, the Green Symphony Orchestra, the Yawata Civic Orchestra, the Osaka Civic Orchestra, the Osaka City University Orchestra, the Nara Symphony Orchestra, the Kansai University orchestra, the Takarazuka City Orchestra, Mukogawa Women’s University school of Music Orchestra, the Fukui University Orchestra, the Kansai Flute Orchestra and the Kyoto Pension Fund Choir, Tokyo philharmonic chorus. Takaya has been on the faculty of Nagoya University of Arts, Mukogawa Women’s University, Jinai Women’s Junior College, the Music educational seminar of Kyoto City University of Arts. He received the Mayor Award for music category of 16th Kyoto Art Festival and Chelniegov prefecture Cultural Contribution Award. He was appointed to the regular conductor of Cherniegov Philharmony orchestra in 2012. |
